Welcome to 1000 Storybooks. These terms explain what is included in your purchase and how we work together. By placing an order, you agree to these terms and the package details shown at the time of purchase.
We provide children’s picture book editing, illustration, cover design, and formatting. Our publishing packages are:

Each package includes one professional editing round, front and back cover design, and files for eBook, paperback, and hardcover publication through Amazon KDP and IngramSpark. Illustrations are made by human artists without AI-generated artwork.
Picture Book Plus also includes Amazon A+ Content, 3D and social media images, advertising graphics, social banners, up to two foreign-language editions using text you supply, a coloring page, a bookmark design, and merchandise designs on request, such as t-shirts, tote bags, and plushies.
These extras are digital designs. Physical merchandise production, printing, shipping, advertising spend, and ongoing advertising management are not included.
Your purchase covers the selected package. Additional pages, services, or custom requirements must be agreed separately before extra charges apply.
Please supply your manuscript, creative direction, and requested supporting materials so we can begin. This will be gathered by your project manager. The final structure determined by the selected package.
You confirm that you own or have permission to use any text, photos, artwork, or other content you submit. Please do not provide material that infringes another person’s rights.
You are responsible for supplying and checking foreign-language text, names, credits, author information, and back-cover copy. Preparing a foreign-language edition from supplied text does not include translation services.
You keep the rights to your original manuscript. When your project is complete and fully paid, you receive ownership of the custom artwork and final book files created for your project. You may use these for publishing, promotion, and merchandise without copyright restriction or paying us a share of your royalties.
The package price and any agreed extras will be shown at checkout or in your written quote. Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.
You may pay in full or choose an available payment plan. Our Pay in 5 option divides the standard package price into five interest-free monthly payments:
Automatic monthly charges end after the fifth payment. Discounts do not apply to Pay in 5 purchases. Any separately arranged installment plan follows the schedule agreed in writing.
An installment plan remains a commitment to pay the full agreed price, subject to the refund guarantee below. If a payment fails, we will contact you to resolve it; work or final delivery may be paused until payment is brought up to date. Ownership transfers after full payment.
All three publishing packages carry a 180-day, 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee, measured from the date of your original purchase.
Within that period, you may request cancellation and a full refund if you are unhappy with the work in progress or finished book, or need to cancel for any reason. Starting work, approving the project, or receiving final files does not remove this guarantee.
To request a refund, contact us with your name, order information, and cancellation request. For installment purchases, a full refund means returning all amounts paid toward the package and cancelling its remaining scheduled payments.
After 180 days, this voluntary guarantee expires. Any rights or remedies required by applicable law remain unaffected. Separately purchased services follow any refund terms disclosed before purchase; we will not assume they are excluded from a guarantee without explaining this in advance.
The package timelines above are estimates, rather than guaranteed deadlines. We will confirm the expected schedule when we have your manuscript and the materials needed to proceed.
The schedule may change with the volume of revisions, project complexity, delayed feedback, missing materials, or payment interruptions. Please tell us about any launch deadline before ordering so we can discuss whether it is achievable.
Publishing packages include unlimited design and illustration revisions within the agreed project scope. One professional manuscript-editing round is included, with minor follow-up edits as needed.
You may provide detailed creative instructions and feedback through your project manager, who coordinates with our artists. Direct communication with an illustrator is not part of the service.
Requests for a different book, additional illustrated pages, or new services may change the scope. We will explain and agree to any additional cost before carrying out that work.
Please review proofs carefully before approving them, including spelling, page order, illustrations, and cover information. If you discover an issue after delivery, contact us so we can review it. We are always willing to correct errors and make minor modifications to your files as needed indefinitely, with no expiration. Final approval does not waive your 180-day guarantee or rights under applicable law.
Optional upgrades are governed by their descriptions and the price agreed at purchase. Providing your own editor or other contributor does not automatically reduce a package price; any adjustment must be agreed in writing.
Workshops, advertising agencies, publishing platforms, and other external services may have their own terms, charges, and refund policies. A referral or link does not make their services part of your publishing package.
Discounts are subject to the conditions of the specific offer. Contact us for a series quote before placing multiple orders.
We prepare publication files; you remain responsible for your publishing accounts, submission, ISBN arrangements, and any platform or printing fees unless otherwise agreed.
We cannot guarantee sales, reviews, rankings, advertising results, or acceptance by a publishing platform. Third parties control their printing, distribution, account decisions, and approval processes. We remain responsible for performing the services we have agreed to provide.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising from a project is limited to the amount you paid for that project. This limitation does not restrict the refund guarantee or any liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.
We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms and package details accepted when you order govern that purchase unless we both agree to a change or applicable law requires otherwise. Later website updates will not automatically reduce benefits already included in your order.
